TABASCO
In March 2015, I arrived in Villahermosa Tabasco Mexico, a city of wonderful people with a particularly hot and humid climate. I brought with me several ideas in my head that led to my first original design, but the process of adapting to the climate of Tabasco and its heavy rains was a challenge, especially in controlling the humidity inside the workshop, after several months and overcoming those obstacles, on December 12, 2015, the first prototype was finally ready and was named Tabasco.
The main idea was to come up with a design that could be adapted to almost any kind of configuration between bridge, pickups etc.
The first prototypes were all different from each other, experimenting with scales, woods and shapes.
7 years later and after several proposals, I have synthesized the idea to three unique models.
Tabasco OS
Each model has the following general specifications in common:
– 24.75″ scale length. – Roasted maple neck. – Ebony, rosewood or katalox fingerboard. – Fingerboard bindings (optional). – Block Inlays (optional). – Alder or mahogany body.
– Aroutine Pickups.– Gotoh SD91 tuners. – 1 volume, 1 tone. – CTS Pots, Sozo Cap. – 22 Jescar stainless steel frets. – Bone nut, 43.5mm. – Double action Truss Rod. – Rest Arm (optional).
